Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 4: Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things

Posted by Khalisi on 1:02 AM

First of all, I want to start my blog post by saying that I apologize for not being able to post yesterday.

Anyway, during the third episode of Game of Thrones, there were a lot of revelations and one of it would be Daenerys condition. It was mentioned last time that the khalisi is pregnant to Khal Drogo and they are expecting a boy. Lady Stark as well was shocked by what she had discovered regarding the owner of the dagger used to end the life of his son in their own house. She also told her other half about it.

Now that we’re done on the thirst episode, we are obviously going to talk about Game of Thrones season 1 episode 4 entitled Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things. You maybe are curious why such long title? Well, first of all, this episode of Game of Thrones as I can see focuses on Bran and he’s a cripple now after what Jamie Lannister did to him. Bastards goes out for Lord Jon Snow but nah, he isn’t the only bastard shown in this fourth episode of Game of Thrones. I was actually surprised after Ned talked with another bastard who happens to be of King Robert. The kid works as a sword smith. Well, aside from those reasons I’ve mentioned regarding the title of this episode, Tyrion Lannister also mentioned those words to Rob Stark during his second visit to Winterfell after staying for a couple of days in the wall where Jon Snow is going to serve.

So much of the episode title thing, it was also during this episode that Viserys was hit by Daenerys for the first time. She also warned him that if he (Viserys) ever dare to lay hands on her again, she’ll make sure that it would also be the last time he’ll ever have hands. Serves him right I must say. But the most thrilling part was when Lady Stark ordered some men to seize Tyrion for attempting to kill his 10 year-old son. The imp is in trouble.

I am just thinking whether Game of Thrones season 2 episode 1 will also cater us more of Lady Stark and Tyrion Lannister’s encounter? I am so excited for the second season of Game of Thrones, by the way, this epic come back of GOT on tv is set for April 1st 2012 air date
