Game of Thrones Dragon: Rhaegal

Posted by Khalisi on 11:40 PM

To those of you who hadn’t read the book or slightly missed the part of the series where Rhaegal was mentioned, well he is the older brother of Daenerys and Viserys. But he died during a war which title I have no idea. I don’t think he will be mentioned again on Game of Thrones season 2 but let us just hope for it to happen. So to honor his older brother, Daenerys named one of her dragons after him, he called it Rhaegal. So now we a have the complete names of Dany’s dragons. Drogon, Vserios and Rhaegal. As far as the question of who’s braver among the three? We’ll see about that on the days to come.

Anyway, I hope you gained something from this trivia, and I hope to share some more on the coming days. Make sure that you watch Game of Thrones season 2 episode 1 The North Remembers online cause if you do miss one of its episode, it’s like you missed one half of your life. I swear. Join the mother of dragons in her quest to bringing back the honor to her family’s name. Find out whether she will be able to seize the iron throne with the help of her cute but dangerous companion, the dragons!

Game of Thrones Season 2 Episode 1: The North Remembers

Posted by Khalisi on 10:47 PM

Brace yourself for the big come back of the epic series Game of Thrones on April 1, 2012. Find out what will happen to your favorite POV characters on Game of Thrones when it starts airing again. Anyway this second episode of GOT is inspired by “A Clash of Kings” the second book of “A Song of Ice and Fire”, a novel written by George R. R. Martin. If you were able to watch all the episode of Game of Thrones season 1 then you probably have names of the aspirant kings.

Talking about the names of all the king wannabes of Westeros, if I am asked to list them down, the list won’t be complete with the absence of Joffry’s name into it and this list will I think continue to include more names if we watch Game of Thrones season 2 The North Remembers online on it airing date. We knew that his mother Queen Cersei announced him as the King of the Seven Kingdoms after the death of King Robert. His coronation also resulted to the beheading of Lord Ned Stark after he was accused by him and his mother of treason. Due to this sudden death of the Lord of the North, the reconciliation between the Starks and Lannisters became ever more impossible.

Another king wannabes are Lord Renly and Stannis Baratheon, the late king’s younger siblings. On this second season of Game of Thrones both of them will crown their selves and will declare that they are the new king of The Seven Kingdoms. There would be no possible treaty or alliance between these Baratheon siblings, both of them thirst for power and will stop at nothing ‘till they get there even if it means killing their own flesh and blood.

The first three names were all from House Baratheon by names. But if we do base it on blood, Joffry is a Lannister, he is a result of incest relationship between his Twin parents, Cersei and Jaime. While as far as I can remember, there is one more person who admittedly wants to sit on the Iron Thrones, this time our potential candidate came from House Targaryen, no it’s not Viserys, he’s dead right. I’m talking about the “Mother of Dragons”, the Khaleesi herself, Daenerys Targaryen. It is known to us that during the very last episode of Game of Thrones season 1, Dany showed up with three of her newly hatched dragons. In fact in one of the trailers of this epic tv series, she was caught saying that she will take what was hers with fire and blood. Surely this series will be as bloody as the word itself can be so we better watch Game of Thrones season 2 episode 1 online.

Aside from these aspiring rulers of the Seven Kingdoms, other characters of Game of Thrones are worth watching out for and to name some, let me mention the Stark siblings, Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran and Rickon as well as their mother of course. Uh.. who else? The Lannisters of course, Cersei, Jaime, Tywin, Tyrion and the rest of their family and banners men as well. But above all these names mentioned, I am more interested with Jon Snow. Oh.. I think I should say I am interested with Kit Harington? Kidding aside. No, kit is not a character on Game of Thrones, he actually is the actor who portrays Jon Snow. You'll know him better if you watch Game of Thrones season 2 episode 1 online.

Alright, it’s getting late and I need to rest (wah!) Let me end up this post by reminding you to mark your calendars on the 1st day of April 2012 for the epic come back of the most awaited television series of the year, Game of Thrones. Hear (read) from me again on my next posts to come.

Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 6: A Golden Crown

Posted by Khalisi on 5:51 AM

More intense than the word itself, that’s how I describe the sixth episode of Game ofThrones. Jamie Lannister confronted Ned and thing’s didn’t came out right, the yellow haired man butchered Ned’s men right in front of him and when they got one on one, Jamie’s man dared to struck an arrow on Ned from behind. Isn’t that a cowardly act? Well by the way we are almost less than a month away from watching the second season of Game of Thrones and I know you are all so excited about it. But let’s deal more with our topic in hand for this post and that is of course and obviously the sixth episode of Game of Thrones.
During this episode, Ned and King Robert had a short talk with one another and it ended with Ned being the King’s hand once again. Queen Cersei as expected wasn’t so happy about it, she wants the Starks to return his imp brother to Kingslanding. Daenerys on the other hand was given a positive omen by the elderly of Vise Dothraak saying that his unborn son is a “Stallion who mounts the world”. Just by those promising words, Daenerys and Drogo are expecting a son who will be the Khal of Khals, someone who will reunite the people as one. Daenerys chooses to name his unborn son as Rhaego and all the people inside the tent was cheering for their unborn prince, Drogo too was very happy about it, you can actually see in his eyes that he is so proud not only of his unborn son but with his wife as well. Viserys jealous of the attentions his younger sister is getting from the people of Vise Dothraak tried to steal the dragon eggs but was stopped by Ser Mormont (correct me if I’m wrong) Watch Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 6 .

Now you may ask what happened to the imp? As said, he was taken to the Errie by Lady Stark, only that Tyrion is too smart for his size he managed to get his way out of it. He truly is a Lannister, house Tully’s motto “Life is more elegant” didn’t made a sound when they Hear the roar of a Lannister’s victory. In one way or the other, this has something to do with Ned’s decision as the hand of the king to summon Jaimie in the court to answer the crime made by one of his trusted men. A drastic action that would later result to something more serious and dangerous or should I say something that would threaten the life of the Lord of Winterfell.

Meanwhile this sixth episode of Game of Thrones marks the early demise of Viserys Targaryan. He was punished for causing humiliation on Khal Drogo and for attempting to kill his unborn son. He asked to claim what was promised to him by the Khal but he should have acted more gentle and not dare to raise a sword on the holy land of the Dothrakis. Well at the end of this episode, Viserys got what her want. A golden crown, only that it was just gotten off from fire. Daenerys was all eyes into it and she was also heard saying her brother was no dragon cause fire cannot kill a dragon.

Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 5: The Wolf and The Lion

Posted by Khalisi on 3:57 AM

Things are getting more intense with every episode of Game of Thrones, we saw how Tyrion Lannister was seized by Lady Stark’s men. She will take the imp to the Errie because she believes Tyrion was the one who wants Bran dead. This will later be taken by the Lannisters as an act of war. But before we go on with the Lannister’s next move, it was also shown to us that even though Ned allowed Arya to have a sword lecture, he is still worried about the little lady’s future I suppose he’s got a feeling that Arya’s boyish act will put her in trouble someday.
Enough with the previous episode let’s now move on to the fifth episode of Game of Thrones season 1. During this episode, Lady Stark’s way to the her sister’s house has been dangerous, they had faced a dangerous encounter with the hill tribes on the their road to the Errie and some of her armed men got killed because the attack went unexpected. This is also the first time where Tyrion had his first kill and the main reason for that is more likely to stop one hill tribe member from attacking Lady Stark.
Meanwhile, Lord Varys warned Ned that he should look after himself because there is a lot of noble men in the capitol who is keeping an eye on him and wants him fall down from being the king’s hand. He was also told that he needs to save King Robert from danger but what’s not so surprising is that it was later made known to us viewers that Lord Barris is also planning Ned’s death alongside with the man from the narrow seas. This scourging hot first season of Game of Thrones will be more intense on April 1st. If you don’t know why then let me tell you that on that very particular day, we can watch Game of Thrones season 2 episode 1. But that date is more than one month away from now. Anyway, back on our first topic, the plans of killing Ned was heard by Arya so she hurried back to the palace to warn her father about it. While a man who introduced himself as a man from the nights watch told Lord Stark that his wife is taking the imp. Later Ned has been called out for a meeting with the king to talk about Daenerys Targaryan’s pregnancy. King Robert ordered Ned to kill the Targaryan lady and her unborn child to secure the realm but Ned refused to do it and he had an argument with the King. He was then reminded that he should do as he was told for he is the hand of the king but Ned insisted that he don’t want to take any part of murdering Daenerys and her child, he gave back the sign of the hand of the king to Robert and declared his leaving the position. This made the king so devastated over him.
But the most thrilling part of Game of Thrones season 1 episode 5 was the last part of course where Ned and Jamie had a serious sword encounter I can see that Lord Stark is giving a good fight only that one of Jamie’s soldier attacked Ned from behind. That’s a real shame over there. Anyway, since I’m now talking about the last part, I guess this is the end of my post for today. We’ll discuss more about the 6th episode tomorrow. Chow!

Game of Thrones Season 1 Episode 4: Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things

Posted by Khalisi on 1:02 AM

First of all, I want to start my blog post by saying that I apologize for not being able to post yesterday.

Anyway, during the third episode of Game of Thrones, there were a lot of revelations and one of it would be Daenerys condition. It was mentioned last time that the khalisi is pregnant to Khal Drogo and they are expecting a boy. Lady Stark as well was shocked by what she had discovered regarding the owner of the dagger used to end the life of his son in their own house. She also told her other half about it.

Now that we’re done on the thirst episode, we are obviously going to talk about Game of Thrones season 1 episode 4 entitled Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things. You maybe are curious why such long title? Well, first of all, this episode of Game of Thrones as I can see focuses on Bran and he’s a cripple now after what Jamie Lannister did to him. Bastards goes out for Lord Jon Snow but nah, he isn’t the only bastard shown in this fourth episode of Game of Thrones. I was actually surprised after Ned talked with another bastard who happens to be of King Robert. The kid works as a sword smith. Well, aside from those reasons I’ve mentioned regarding the title of this episode, Tyrion Lannister also mentioned those words to Rob Stark during his second visit to Winterfell after staying for a couple of days in the wall where Jon Snow is going to serve.

So much of the episode title thing, it was also during this episode that Viserys was hit by Daenerys for the first time. She also warned him that if he (Viserys) ever dare to lay hands on her again, she’ll make sure that it would also be the last time he’ll ever have hands. Serves him right I must say. But the most thrilling part was when Lady Stark ordered some men to seize Tyrion for attempting to kill his 10 year-old son. The imp is in trouble.

I am just thinking whether Game of Thrones season 2 episode 1 will also cater us more of Lady Stark and Tyrion Lannister’s encounter? I am so excited for the second season of Game of Thrones, by the way, this epic come back of GOT on tv is set for April 1st 2012 air date
