And I’m back, as mentioned on my previous post about Game of Thrones season 1 episode 1, Bran has became the newest victim of the Lannister’s evil act, while Lord Snow met for the first time Tyrion Lannister and the latter even game him an advice not to forget where he came from for it won’t be use to hurt him. Daenerys on the other hand became Khal Drogo’s better half and Lady Katherine Stark received a message from her sister straight from the Erie telling her that the latter’s husband was murdered by the Lannisters and that King Baratheon is in danger. Lord Ned Stark of Winterfell upon knowing what happened to the late hand of the king decided to accept the offer of being the next hand of the king in order to protect his friend and to learn more about the evil plans of the Lannisters.
That was just a preview of what had happened on the pilot episode of Game of Thrones, this time we’re going to talk about well of course the second episode of GOT. One of my favorite part in this episode was when Tyrion kept on slapping the thick face of the Prince Geoffry (that pathetic chicken bastard kid). Serves him right anyway. And oh, how can I forget the first Jamie’s first insulting words for Jon Snow? Lannisters really are pissing me off. Okay, so enough with the Lannisters, it was also during this second episode of Game of Thrones season 1 that Jon Snow gave her little half sister Arya a very skinny sword and taught the latter her very first lesson. This was also the time where Jon says farewell to his half siblings as well as the first time I ever saw how Lady Katherine resents my favorite male Game of Thrones character (next to Drogo I suppose). But on the contrary, I won’t blame Lady Katherine Stark for what she did, maybe just maybe if I were in her place, I might do the same thing over Jon. He was Ned’s son to other woman and of course we can’t expect the man’s wife not to be jealous or mad over the kid. But what she must remember is that Jon Snow is innocent. That’s all I can say about that certain matter on Game of Thrones.
But what truly moved me during this second episode of Game of Thrones season 1 is Jon and Ned’s farewell talk. Jon was told by his father to be proud of being a member of the Knight’s Watch and that even though Jon doesn’t carry on his father’s name, he still has Ned’s blood running through his veins. That was touching. Uh, I almost forgot to mention Jon Snow also asked his father about his mother, Ned promised him that on their next meeting they’re going to talk about his mother.
While Ned and Snow are taking their paths to their own different destinations, the second attempt on Bran’s life had occurred, good thing there was Lady Katherine and of course, Bran’s Dire Wolf who rescued him from the hands of that ruthless killer who tried to kill him. It is by this time that Lady Katherine suspected that what happened to Bran is not just an accident but rather a murderous act. She sets of for a travel to inform Ned about what she is thinking.

But for me, Game of Thrones season 1 episode 2 is the mark of Daenerys’ first success. She was able to learn a way on how to please the Dothrak, thanks to her maid. On the sad part, one of the Stark’s Dire Wolf, Lady to be exact was sentenced to death by Queen Cersi.
